The Touch Of The Master’s Hand

The Touch Of The Master’s Hand

‘Twas battered and scarred, And the auctioneer
Thought it scarcely worth his while
To waste much time on the old violin,
But held it up with a smile
“What am I bidden , good folks,” he cried,
“Who’ll start the bidding for me?”
“A dollar, a dollar ,” then , two! Only two?
“Two dollars, and who’ll make it three?
“Three dollars, once ;three dollars, twice;
Going for three …..” But no,
From the room, far back, a grey –haired man
Came forward and picked up the bow;
Then, wiping the dust from the old violin,
And tightening the loose strings,
He played a melody pure and sweet
As a caroling angel sings.

The music ceased, and the auctioneer,
With a voice that was quiet and low,
Said: “What am I bid for the old violin?”
And he held it up with the bow.
“A thousand dollars, and who’ll make it two?
Two thousand! And who’ll make it three?
Three thousand, once; three thousand twice;
And going and gone,” said he.
The people cheered, but some of them cried,
“We do not quite understand
What changed its worth?” Swift came the reply:
“The touch of a master’s hand.”

And many a man with life out of tune,
And battered and scarred with sin,
Is auctioned cheap to the thoughtless crowed,
Much like the old violin.
A “mess of potage,” a glass of wine;
A game --- and he travels on.
He is “going” once, and “going” twice,
He’s “going” and almost “gone”.
But the Master comes and the foolish crowd
Never can quite understand
The worth of a soul and the change that’s wrought
By the touch of the Master’s hand.

When We Find Ourselves In Pain

When we find ourselves in pain, we wonder if God truly cares about us. We ask ourselves many questions about God’s true nature.
I have been in pain myself and I know how difficult it is to trust God, when your pain lingers on after you have prayed.
The bible talks about a man who was full of leprosy (Luke 5:12-13), NOTE: This man had gone through a lot of physical pain, and social stigmatization. This man knew that God is powerful but just, like most of us who are hurting, he wasn't sure if, God cares about him.
So when this “leper” came in contact with Jesus Christ (the son of God) , he was not sure if Jesus Christ will help him out of his problems , so he made a cautious plea to Jesus Christ saying ; “if you are willing , you can make me whole .” That leper knew Jesus Christ could heal him, he just wasn't sure if Jesus Christ was “willing”.
Jesus Christ surprised the leper (the unclean man) with this words and actions, he “touched” the leper and said: “I am willing, be cleansed”.
What Jesus said to that leper, that is what he is saying to you and your loved ones today, ‘I am willing be healed’
NOTE: This man must have prayed and cried to God many times to take away his pain, I don’t know how big your problems are, I don’t know what you've been told by your doctors, but I know that God loves you and He had sacrificed His son, Jesus Christ so that you can enjoy every form of healing.
Give your life to God, accept Jesus Christ into your life today, and let Him fight your battles for you, surrender your life to Him and He will heal your land and make you whole again. He is willing to turn your water to wine. Please send your prayer request to this phone number: +234 (0)703 244 1330 via text message or WhatsApp, we will pray for your healing and you will surely receive it in Jesus’ name(amen).

Mighty Oak

Mighty Oak

Stand tall oh mighty oak, for all the world to see,

your strength and undying beauty forever amazes me.

Though storm clouds hover above you,

your branches span the sky,

in search of the radiant sunlight you

count on to survive.

When the winds are high and restless and

you lose a limb or two,

it only makes you stronger, we

could learn so much from you.

Though generations have come and gone

and brought about such change,

quietly you've watched them all yet still

remained the same.

I only pray God give to me the strength he's

given you,

to face each day with hope, whether

skies are black or blue,

Life on earth is truly a gift

every moment we must treasure,

it's the simple things we take for granted

that become our ultimate pleasures.

I KNOW A FRIEND...

Many times in life, we find ourselves disappointed by the people we love and trust; many friends and families have turned their backs on us when we need them most.
Betrayal is a common attribute among humans.  I don’t know how many times you've been hurt or betrayed by the people you trust, I don’t know how deep your wounds are, but I know a healer who can heal all your wounds and make you whole again.
No matter how troubled your life is right now, no matter how lonely you are, I know a friend who will help you overcome your fears and all the forces working against your peace.
The Bible calls Him ‘a present help in time of need’. He is the friend that sticks closer than a brother or sister. He is your pal and your touch bearer. In simple words: He loves you, and will never shun, ignore or forsake you. His name is Jesus Christ. Jesus is knocking at the door of your heart, He wants to come in, and help you become the best you can be.
He loves you, but He won’t force himself on you, you will have to invite Him into your life by saying these words: Lord Jesus please forgive me, I admit my sins, come into my life and be my Lord and savior in Jesus’  name I pray, amen.
